Pre-order Yamato 1/48 VF-1S Roy Weathering

Yamato's 1/48 VF-1S Roy Weathering Special will have a limited reproduction run coming out around end of December 2008 or early January 2009. Item is exclusive to Yamato Fan Club members only. Order deadline is on 19 December 2008. Save from Macross World Forums and I are working together to provide assistance to Macross fans living outside of Japan to get this highly sought-after exclusive. This offer does require a little bit of work on your part. There is also no PayPal fee for the service but all payments must be sent in Japanese yen through PayPal.

Full payment is required after we received the order confirmation email from Yamato. We can't guarantee that we will be able to get your order in if we don't have your gmail information before the 19th.

Service details:

1. The buyer will need to create a new (non-personal) gmail account that we can access. Every Yamato membership must have its own unique email address. We can not make multiple accounts with the same email. Once the buyer creates the email, we need to have access to confirm that the order is secured and when the item will be shipped.

2. Once we get the new email address we will create the Yamato account in your name with our delivery address, then place the order for the exclusive item.

3. Yamato will then send an order confirmation email to the email address. There will also be a second email notifying shipping date when the order is processd for shipping.

4. Japan delivery date is scheduled for end of December 2008 or beginning of January 2009. Once delivered to us, we will remove it from its shipping box and check to make sure it has all parts and check for any excessive box damage. Then it will be repack with bubble wrap and shipped out. (If you want it shipped in a larger box, that will be at an extra charge. Please ask for details.)

Service cost:

Yamato Fan Club membership fee = 1,000 yen (You may also reuse your account for future Yamato Fan Club offers.)

Konami Figumate Sweet Snake

Just got these super-cute Figumate renditions of MGS4 characters a couple days back. Ordered a set for myself and several other sets were sold to my customers. At the time of this post, I still have a few sets left for sale so if anyone is interested, please contact me for details. I will also have a set up for auction on eBay this weekend.

Announced in August, these Figumate reditions of Ocelot, Snake, Raiden, and Otacon were designed by Yoji Shinkawa but the actual 7cm figures resemble more like Barasui's Strawberry Marshmallow characters IMO.

Snake is such a cutie! I don't like the unsightly gap in the articulated torso though, and the separate headband part can be rather difficult to attach to the back of Snake's head.

Ocelot! Behind you! O_O

Raiden is my favorite from the set, but mine has a slight smudge on her face. -_-;; The painting on the rest of the figure looks great though. Nice finish on the body suit and especially the glossy black coat.

Otacon is irresistibly cute as a girl! Looks kinda like Matsuri from Strawberry Marshmallow.

Two sheets of Sweet Snake Para Para Animation storyboard included in the set. Storyboard illustrated by Nobuyoshi Nishimura. You can cut the sheets and arrange in sequence, then flip the papers with your thumb to view the short animation of each character.

Comes with concept illustrations of each character, too. Illustrated by Nobuyoshi Nishimura and editorial supervision by Yoji Shinkawa.

Aside from the slight paint flaws, they're a cute bunch of figs of anime-style girls cosplaying as the four main MGS4 characters. They're my first set of Figumates, too! Check out the official page for more info.
